How long does it take to build a custom home in Southwest Florida?
Design and engineering typically run three to six months, permitting adds six to twelve weeks depending on the jurisdiction, and construction usually takes ten to sixteen months. Coastal lots with elevation or seawall requirements sit at the longer end of that range.
Do I need to own the lot before we start?
No. Many clients come to us before they buy. We walk candidate lots with you and review setbacks, flood zone and base flood elevation, tree and preserve requirements, and utility access so you know what a site will actually cost to build on.
What does a luxury custom home cost per square foot?
Most of our custom home construction lands between $375 and $700 per square foot of air-conditioned space, driven by ceiling detail, window and door packages, stone, millwork, and outdoor living scope. You receive a line-item budget during design, long before we break ground.
Do you work with my architect and designer?
Yes. We collaborate with your architect and interior designer, or we assemble the full team for you. Either way one project manager owns the schedule, the budget, and every trade on site.
How are custom homes built for hurricanes here?
Every home is engineered to current Florida Building Code high-velocity standards: impact-rated glazing, engineered tie-down and uplift connections, reinforced masonry or concrete structure, and roof assemblies detailed for wind-driven rain.
